The Republican President did NOT crash the U.S. stock markets alone. He did it with the help of a lot of politicians who were too scared, too selfish, or too basic to speak up.
Gov. Brad Little did his part by making statements like this one:
“I am prepared to work hand in hand with President Trump and his administration to put the dysfunction of the past four years behind us and usher in prosperity and strength for the people of America.” (Jan. 20, 2025. Idaho Gov. press release)
What a tool … of the bumbling gang of felons, fabulists, and failed reality stars now running America into the ground.
Another way Brad Little, and legions of Republican politicians, help Trump carry out his terrible ideas is by distracting folks with scary things like … look! Those dairy farm workers came from a country that has crime in it!
In fact, Brad Little conducted a press conference to promote Trump’s immigration show. As a rancher who relies on an immigrant workforce, Little failed to mention how chilling is the prospect of a federal government abandoning all due process to snatch people off the streets, or university campuses, throw bags over their heads, and fly them to an El Salvadoran torture prison.
They’re fighting lawlessness with lawlessness. That’s twice as much lawlessness and real jeopardy to regular citizens who get sideways with the Trump administration.
So, now Trump has recklessly gambled with our economy. With our retirements. With our savings. With our jobs. With our ability to buy food and to support our kids.
He did it because he is deluded and corrupt. He has surrounded himself with the foolish and slavish. He golfs while his kingdom burns.
But don’t for a minute think he did this by himself.
He did this with the help of every Republican politician, like Idaho’s own Brad Little, who didn’t have the courage or character to see the evil, hear the evil, and finally stand up and speak about the evil.
I have no idea how this worldwide tariff war will end up and neither does Trump or anyone else. That makes it reckless. That’s no way to lead the world.
