We need Idaho Governor Brad Little to tell the Trump Regime to stay out of Idaho and stay away from the Idaho National Guard. I encourage every Idahoan to contact the governor and tell him that we do not want to surrender nearly 250 years of liberty.

Little has already indicated that he wants to appease the President and his advisors who just turned the military on Americans in California this weekend.

Before Trump wrestled the National Guard from the California governor, Little had promised to give Immigration, Customs, and Enforcement agents free rein in Idaho, writing in a press release: “Idaho has taken many steps to increase our coordination with the Trump administration in the enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws … to help address the national emergency posed by years of reckless border policies.”

Wake up! The Trump Regime is the national emergency.

I find it hard to believe that Little would knowingly throw away our liberty to appease Trump. I truly hope that Little is either being hoodwinked by his political party or he has simply failed despite good intentions. Mostly, I hope I have been wrong those times I’ve called out Little’s capitulation to his party’s rising radical, theocratic wing.

Governor Little. We need you to find your courage and stand up for our freedom.

Fellow Idahoans, I know it’s too terrible to believe even as we see it with our eyes, hear with our ears, in real-time: fascism is galloping across our nation. We can no longer comfort ourselves with the salve of historical precedence. Donald Trump has proven repeatedly that precedent does not matter to him. What matters to Trump and his army of authoritarians is Trump’s chaotic plan to create civil unrest, while destroying the stabilizing force of local, state and federal  institutions. That plan leads to the use of military force on Americans. Make no mistake. We are dangerously close to a police state.

That plan is now in full bloom. This is not something that will wait until after the midterm elections. This is something that has already happened. Silence is complicity.

We need to stand together. That means we need our governor standing with us:

Mr. Little, please do the right thing and stand up to Mr. Trump’s takeover of America. He gets stronger everyday you stay silent.
