Hey there Idaho newcomers,

Welcome to Idaho! Now that you’re here, I know you’ll want to save it as much as I do.

I have watched this “Gem” of a state’s population double to 2 million over the last 40 years. I may not know what brought so many people here, but I completely understand why everyone has stayed.

If you haven’t already figured it out, you need to ignore most of the inane things that a bunch of self-centered, overly ambitious political snakes and knotheads may say. Idahoans don’t like playing anyone’s brand of politics when it comes to public lands.

WE LOVE PUBLIC LANDS.

In Idaho, we fight to keep what we love.

Right now our public lands are threatened like never before. Governor Brad Little has just declared that he’s clearing the way for President Trump’s demand to turn everything over to big industries. Now, we like loggers and miners. But we don’t want some unhinged foreign greed-driven company destroying our public lands, under-paying Idaho workers, and then leaving a town with sacks of money and a huge mess behind them.

It’s happened before and the “great” real estate con artist and his slavish minions think Idaho is just another state shaped like a dollar sign.

I’ll say it again, Brad Little is throwing down the red carpet. He’s much too scared of Trump and the Idaho Republican political shot callers to stand up for us.

Hey don’t let anybody fool you. Public land is something WE ALL AGREE on. Libertarian and liberal hearts alike love that you don’t need to be rich to tramp around where clear water percolates, animals thrive, and a human’s spirit can truly soar. Anyone who says we’d rather have our public land sold off is lying. Flat out, red-faced, lying.

I am fighting the greedy liars now and I will fight them when I am governor.

If other states want to imprison everyone in cookie-cutter suburban mazes of pointy roofs and yards too small to stretch your arms in–that’s their sad decision.

Not here. Not now. Not ever. Not in our beautiful Idaho.

Let’s keep public lands public.
